Bristol Case Grant

Supporting Children in Need

Once again, Grace Church supports children in need. We continue to partner with Our Open Umbrella for their new mission of helping high school kids.

The Fuel for the Weekend Program will now be part of the Hockomock Y food program.  They distribute abut 180 bags of groceries to children.

We have received grant awards each year!!

MAKING AN IMPACT ON OUR COMMUNITY!

AND we were awarded again in 2020 and 2021 and 2022 and 2023

In addition to Our Open Umbrella, funds were also provided to the Farmer's Market, Greater Attleboro Council of Children's Christmas is for Kids [https://www.councilforchildren.org/what-is-christmas-is-for-kids], Adopt a Family and donations to families in need. We buy a number of gift cards which are provided to children in town. This year we supported the Spier Family campaign with the Hockomock YMCA.

Our parishioners also support Lenore's Pantry each month with groceries.

Truly Grace Church is having an impact on our community!

We are in the news! Thanks to all who participated in making the Bristol Case Grant a possibility and for carrying forward with it. It brings us into our community and supports the children in need.

The Case Trust, left by the Case family of Swansea, provides funds to support the diocesan mission in the Episcopal parishes of Bristol County.

In the spirit of the Case legacy and Diocesan mission priorities, outreach projects embracing partnerships between or among churches, denominations and other community agencies are encouraged. The committee seeks to answer God’s urgent call to join in God’s mission in the world through partnerships and mission outreach projects with neighbors down the street, across the country and around the globe.
