Ministries of Grace Church
Acolytes:
The Acolyte Guild consists of youth, from third grade through adults. The acolytes are part of the liturgical team. They work together with the clergy and lay Eucharistic Ministers to enhance the beauty of the Mass.
What is an Acolyte? Acolytes are altar attendants in public worship. They are an important part of the team of leaders for the liturgy. The word Acolyte comes from the Greek akolouthos (follower), although it is normally an Acolyte that leads the choir, Eucharistic ministers and clergy in procession at the beginning and the end of the liturgy.

Stewardship Committee:
Stewardship is about people offering back to God their time and talent to do the work we were commissioned to do at our Baptism. It is about connecting with people, helping each other find our gifts for ministry, and finding ways to offer those gifts to the community.
Ushers
A church usher is a volunteer who acts as a greeter and guide in the church. An usher is often the first representative of the congregation whom visitors encounter when entering a church, and they are responsible for conveying the best first impression to people assembling for worship. But the duties and responsibilities of a church usher are more varied than simply extending a warm welcome.
If you'd like to be an Usher at Grace Church please speak with John Sullivan, Brian Auclair, Bob Burrows or Phil Greil.
Welcoming Committee:
The Welcoming Committee's mission is to bring new members in to Grace church, make them feel welcome at worship, include them in our existing programs and create new programs targeted toward new members.
Worship Committee:
The committee discusses numerous issues relating to expanding Grace Church's experience of worship. This committee includes all those who assist at worship and the Altar Guild. We meet four to five times a year to plan out the next segment of the church year together.
